Building Self-Esteem…

Our Reward System is the key to improving self-esteem. As children move up in rank and earn the honor of the next color belt, we celebrate this achievement with a public belt-tying ceremony. Children experience an enormous sense of pride when they are recognized by their peers. They soon realize that achievement feels good!

Also, to recognize their effort during the class program, we honor them with stickers that they attach to their belts.

My 2 daughters have been attending Panther Martial Arts Taekwondo and sparring for nearly 3 years now and they absolutely love it! The instructors are amazing and really know how to motivate the kids to do their best. We have been going to Master Eddie at Panther Tae Kwon Do for 4 years now. He is very well rounded with all martial arts and he works GREAT with kids!

If you want a “real” black belt, there is only one choice in Camarillo. When we go to competitions, the other local schools bring 10-20 kids. We will bring 4 or 5, and all will win gold or silver. A black belt at other schools is like a purple belt at Panther.

Needless to say, I HIGHLY recommend checking them out!

…Master Eddie and Ron are a pleasure to train with as they are both dedicated and have a passion for training.  They both know how to get the correct results and how to push me to ensure that I receive the best workout and achieve the best training.  I have enjoyed training with Master Eddie and Ron so much that I enrolled my son in the class as well.  On top of Taekwondo, we have started taking their Kickboxing class.  My son and I have both seen awesome results from training at Panther Martial Arts!

My kids take tae Kwon Do with Master Eddie. It is excellent not only for their physical fitness but it also instills discipline into their daily lives. I also take the fitness kickboxing. Talk about a workout! Don’t waste your time and money on a gym, this is all you will ever need.

I love this studio! I go there myself and I also bring my son for his taekwondo classes. Master Eddie and instructor Ron really dedicate themselves to teaching the kids. They show the great balance between martial arts instructions and having fun. Kids learn there a lot and they love coming there.

Before I started taking my classes there, I checked a few other studios around and their reputation. It looks like in some other studios, they go through the belts too fast, like a new belt every 2-3 months and kids don’t learn as much. Here, at Panther, a kid takes a test for a new belt only when master Eddie sees that a kid is ready for it. So, it’s more individual progress. They teach a lot about confidence and self discipline. I truly recommend this place!

Make sure you wear comfortable clothes you can do sport in! 

Be sure to bring a water bottle.  You will find Panther Martial Arts Taekwondo classes a great workout and lots of fun!  Most students are grinning from ear to ear by the end of the class.  We are sure you will be too!

Not at all.  You will find that martial arts classes are the PERFECT sport for kids who are not good at sport.  Kids Taekwondo classes really are individual after-school activity, that they do in a group. 

The journey from white belt to black belt is different for each student.  But what is the same…. They improve coordination, balance, motor skills, focus, and discipline.  Plus, they make lots of great friends!

Our Instructors are highly skilled in teaching martial arts for kids.  Really… It’s their PASSION!

A specific part of our Little Panthers and Children’s Taekwondo classes at Panther Martial Arts Center, Camarillo Ventura County is teaching respect as well as teaching when to use their new self-defense training and when to NOT use them. We find that our students become more confident to stand up to bullies. And have more humility and kindness to others through their Martial Arts lessons.

We encourage parents to watch their children in their kid’s Martial Arts lessons. We love parents getting involved! And so do their kids. Even better… join our martial arts classes for adults. Your kids will love that you have something in common. It will build a strong family bond!

Getting them active, without them realizing they are learning, is our skill. Kicking and punching pads is such a great stress relief, that kids blossom in all areas – because of their martial arts training.
